Related: About this forumWill Democrats EVER be able to flip the legislature and governor's mansion?
I am a FL native and Im shocked by the state GOP. It thwarts the will of the people whenever it can.
Weve had 20 consecutive years of GOP rule in Tallahassee and Im tired of it.
They hate public education, the environment, organized labor, immigration, sensible gun laws, citizen initiatives, and just about anything else that is part of a democracy.
When will the state party figure out how to win? This is demoralizing!

The state party relies on county parties and county parties rely on volunteers.

The situation with Fla. really concerns me, for a while now. At least there was Alan Grayson a while ago.
Yet there are plenty of people like Gillum, if the system isn't rigged and people can vote.
