Quite a turnaround here in Pensacola! (RE: removal of Confederate statue)

"The Pensacola City Council on Thursday evening unanimously approved an item to start the 30-day waiting period required by council policy for the city to alter or remove a historical marker."

That doesn't mean the statue is definitely going away -- I'd say the odds are still against it being taken down. However, earlier this week, Mayor Grover Robinson seemed to dismiss the discussion altogether.
