Man arrested for driving drunk hurls racial slurs at black deputies, threatens their lives
A Lady Lake man stopped in DeLand for driving drunk threatened the lives of two black deputies, calling them racial names and telling them to increase their life insurances if they have family, Volusia County sheriffs deputies said.
Patrick Nestlebush, 58, of 4043 Lake Griffin Road in Lake County, was arrested Sunday and charged with two counts of threatening a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer, prior refusal to submit to testing, and felony DUI driving enhanced, because he has been previously arrested three times for DUI, his arrest report states.
