If the powers that be think people aren't going to use the emergency lanes outside of the posted hours, they've got another thing coming. People can't go back. You give 'em a lane, they are going to abuse it! I still can't believe anybody thought this was a good idea when the problem is the bottleneck at 285.

1. Only the GA DOT would use EMERGENCY lanes for extra rush hour traffic lanes.

What an unbelievably horrible idea.

A good idea would be express bus services in dedicated lanes with park and ride lots out in the burbs and connections to both MARTA and private city & shuttle bus services in metro Atlanta.
