I'm glad I'm not working up there this weekend.
For those who had not heard, a fire under part of I-85 near Piedmont Rd caused a section of the elevated interstate to collapse. This may take 6months or longer to repair.

(114,503 posts)1. Right, since more of the overpass and on both sides of the highway
might have been rendered unsafe because of the high heat.
They can't even get engineers under there to check since that fire is still burning under the pancaked deck.
