ALBANY, Ga. (WFXL) One Southwest Georgia student is paving her way to the top by applying to almost 100 colleges and getting accepted to half of them at no cost.
Kenyari Sawyer, a 17-year-old senior at Monroe High School, has been accepted to 48 schools of the 92 she applied for in the past six months.

(4,229 posts)She still can only choose one and gets only one scholarship package. Meanwhile, she could withdraw her acceptances from 39 colleges so as to allow other worthy students to get accepted.

(16,688 posts)I get that she may have been trying to see how much financial aid she could get but after a dozen acceptances, you'd think she could take her pick.
