The Democratic ground game

in Idaho is almost nonexistent. I wish they didn't just write us off. We do have Democrats running for local office with no visible support from the DNC. I have been spending time in our local HQ. a lot of folks have stopped by asking for yard signs, buttons, bumper stickers, etc but we have nothing. We had an OFA rep but he is either gone or inactive. There is a do nothing guy who is supposed to be doing something with election but also useless. It is so discouraging. Any ideas as to how to activate our progressive citizens and start stunning this state a little blue?

Northern Idaho used to have a lot more progressives (and also a ton of extreme right-wing survivalists) than the more solidly republican south. When I was in college in Moscow we were almost the only that voted for Democrats. Carter had like, 12, votes in Idaho in 1980.

Why can't we be more like Montana?
Why are people so solidly Republican here, even though we defeated the Luna laws which were so heavily promoted and passed by the Republican establishment? If they don't like the laws the legislature passed, why do they keep electing Republicans?????
