Have you seen that Kirk has already started his campaign?

TV ads about his stroke recovery and military service.

Now I think his comeback from that horrible stroke shows he is a fighter. I applaud him for his hard work. But I don't want him fighting for me. His interests have nothing to do with me

The ad is so blatantly an attempt to try and compare his personal situation to that of Tammy Duckworth, it's shameful

Having a stroke is hardly the same as being in combat and losing limbs.

Duckworth for Senate!

I hail from SW cook county. Still kick myself about finding out we only have two pubs, but 14 churches within a mile of here.

i wonder how many people think, like i do, that he should have stepped down after that stroke. he couldnt do his job. how many private sector jobs would have kept him on the payroll that long?

At least if they had 50 or more employees. Though I agree with you. It would have been the right thing to do

Obviously, he is much more important to himself than the people he represents. And not in any "you have to love yourself" kind of bull hockey

give him a nice parting gift and send him on his was. if he was high enough up in the ranks, most companies would not have waited on him. and they dont have to give him back the same job, just A job. pay him what he was getting, but assign him to clean the toilets.

i just find it amazing that he still manages to portray himself as "a moderate". he is anything but.

That is his worst offense to me. I will happily seek out opportunities to support Tammy Duckworth.
