Gov Pritzger joins Wellington the penguin (and pals) for a social distancing PSA at Shedd Aquarium

During the coronavirus lockdown, Chicago's Shedd Aquarium has been taking some of their penguins on excursions to other exhibits in the place. They post videos of the trips, in which Wellington, a rockhopper penguin is the breakout star. So the governor decided to recruit him and a few of his roommates in a good cause:

I needed that bit of cuteness.

Wish I could be there with Wellington. I have had to accompany my granddaughter to the Shedd a number of times when she was 3 and 4 years old (it was her obsession), and I have to say I really couldn't abide the crowds and the wet smell everywhere. I'd love to go when it's empty and just the penguins waddling around! I think they're going to be very sad when they have to return to their quarters when the crowds come again.

2. Wellington and friends are Rockhopper penguins. I saw the largest

colony of them in the Falklands.
