Yeah, thousands of voters being "denied their Vote" because the guy they voted for has been indicted and ruled ineligible to run.

WHY do I get the sense that there would not be the same level of concern raised for the poor voters if it was Osili who was being removed?

White *TOLD* everyone, before the election, that he broke the law. The Indy Star endorsed his opponent specifically because of this. It was no secret to any vaguely informed voter that White probably should not be eligible to serve; if you cast your vote for him you were taking a chance that he wouldn't finish his term.
