I'd hate to lose GA or NC because too many wasted their donations on a race that might never even become competitive.

My message was meant for Iowans. Please don't be a Debbie Downer and discourage us.

4. Do You Realize It's Close To Impossible Defeating A 40+ Year Senator In A Red State?

Being realistic on where the Democratic Party should spend their limited funds, is not being a "Debbie Downer."

As the poster said, states like GA & NC are much more in play, as they are purple states where Democrats have a chance at victory.

Putting money into a race so the Democrat can lose by 10 points rather than 15 points, makes little sense.

If you want to see what the polls look like before the party abandons ship, that's fine. Right now, they don't indicate Iowans have any intention of letting go of Grassley.

5. His approval ratings are dropping. 2/3 of Iowans don't want him to run again (including repubs)

If there was a time to beat him, it is now. He's wounded.

in 2018 JD Scholten came within a couple points of beating Steve King in the reddest district in IA. It's doable.

Take a piss somewhere else!! Harkin voters aren't all dead yet. Franken is an excellent candidate. Grassley is a staff controlled figurehead.
