Republicans are sure stupid about things financial (Medicaid Expansion)

that is one of the major reasons I have been such a staunch Democrat for a long time. Trusting things financial to Repubicans is pissing your money away.

The Iowa Senate yesterday voted against the Iowa House's swap out of the Branstad version of Medicaid for the senate passage of the ACA version. Below we have Senator Pam Jochum of Dubuque explain quite explicitly why the finances of the Branstad bill are so bad - they really stink and a person would have to be an idiot to vote for them.

But Republicans live in a dream world of magic men in the sky and rich poor people.
