There were a bunch of teabaggers in Bettendorf this afternoon.

They were all hanging out on the Lincoln Rd. bridge that goes over I-74, complete with signs and teabagger flags. One of the signs said something like, "honk for impeachment." Instead of doing that I made a one-fingered editorial comment in their general direction. I don't think they saw it though because it was inside my car and I was almost under the bridge when I did that.

They are becoming a safety hazard congregating on the overpasses and distracting people from driving. DPS needs to arrest these people for being a public nuisance.

And I was at their place while it was going on. Of course, I couldn't see the sign from their place but there were several kids waving flags and waving at passing cars. I just had a feeling they were teahadists, er repukes, er, right wingers because of the excessive flags. Then I saw an article about it in the QC Times yesterday and said to myself, "It figures." My mom told me that the police made them move because they were posing a hazard to traffic. Busy road, busy walkway. Too bad for them. Or not.
