Your observation is definitely a concern, and if we can't field a viable candidate very soon and begin generating some energy, I fear a lot of good, tired people will just say "screw it" and opt out. The excitement and energy of 2008 and 2012 will be hard to match, but at the very least we need a candidate! I wish we could see a Warren-Feingold ticket. They'd speak some hard truth to big power.

I can't believe Scotty is still standing. But there is SO much ugly about him that he is the perfect candidate for the rabid RW coalition.

Yes they are just as dumb. The only thing that keeps our Governor from his dreams of teabag glory is our marginal control of the Iowa Senate.

And I was so disgusted when that idiot Ernst was elected that if I could I would have moved to Minnesota the day after election day.

And I have a BIG fuck you to each and every Iowan who voted for Ernst and every Iowan who is slobbering over Scott Wanker.
