Didn't it use to last a week? Friday afternoon til week from that next day--Saturday
We 1st started when it was in an empty store in downtown Des Moines.
Retiring profs would donate their lifetime collections, closing small libraries donated their collections.
The foreign language area was incredible! And there was a gigantic area with tables layers deep in paperbacks.
And always the solemn-faced people marching with signs protesting Planned Parenthood. Sometimes trying to convince people waiting in line to enter that they shouldn't be there.
