Finally! Statewide stay at home order.

Thanks, Governor Kelly. I have operated on the assumption that she's been pushing this behind the scenes for weeks, against opposition. So glad we have her right now.

1. Think how many lives might have been saved if this came a week ago.

2. Yes. We've been depending on our cities and counties--

and they've done a good job, it seems. The truth is that it probably won't make a lot of difference, since the more populated areas have been restricted for more than a week. The people who get it are following the rules, with some not grasping the concept, of course. In the rural areas, some counties have already asked for self-quarantines if you visited the hardest hit counties.

I am just happy every time that our wonderful Democrat is allowed to win.

3. I live across the

state line in KCMO. Wish our Gov. Parsons (R) would do the same. Won’t happen.

4. You are correct

MO will be one of the last to close down, I think. Grateful for KCMO and Jackson County being smart, though!
