Support Wichita teachers Rally July 9

It"s been a month since public negotiations between teachers and the school district ended, and we are no further ahead. The district continues to stall and push additional and unreasonable workload onto teachers, without including teachers in their proposals. So it's time for another rally at the July 9 BOE meeting.

We know it's hot, but we need all of you to support public education and educators. As before, we're promoting unity and true partnership with the Board of Education, but we need a fair contract for that to happen. Signs and bottled water will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

In order to get the most invitations out (and the most participants), please accept this invitation even if you can't go. Then invite all your FB friends to this event, and ask them to do the same. Let's show the BOE that Wichita supports its teachers!
