they pay now but that is a lot of money at that income level.

(4,695 posts)2. Single payer Medicare is about $100.00 per month. Let us hope that the Congress seated in January
2015 will move the ACA to a single payer like President Obama and the Democrats wanted and tried for months to get in 2009-10. Everybody should know that Republican stopped it. They are for big salaried and bonused Insurance companies.

(4,695 posts)3. And a low income person receiving Medicare, get the single payer premium paid by State Medicaid.
And Medicaid picks up the part not paid by Medicare.
