THIS IS ABOUT TEXAS

I assume many of you scan the general discussion forum; well here is a post that many from maine ought to see:

And the west and east coast can cut off the *massive* transfers of their tax dollars that are used to prop up the state budgets of all those broke red states and use them to... oh... buy resources from anywhere else. See who implodes.
this post was a reply to a texan that wanted to cut off oil and natural gas to other states!
In case you want to know how the worker in texas does compared to Maine -they are poorer! but the state has a great number of millionares and billionares! (trickle down my butt they want it all)

It's one of the very few red states that pay more to the fed than they receive. Something like a dollar and seven cents for every dollar they receive. It's a strangled little trickle, but it's there.

texas is still one of the most corrupt states in the union-they have poor pay, poor schools ,poor infastructure and cater to the wealthy!
Outside of that they probably have more chiggers per square foot than any other state in the nation-but poverty is very apparent in texas!
