Ellen, this is a new low, even for Donald Trump: On Tuesday, the president fired FBI Director James Comey – the lead investigator charged with probing Russia’s interference in our election.
It seems the more we look into possible collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia, the more questions we have – and the further we get from any answers.
This latest stunt proves exactly why we need a special prosecutor and an independent commission looking into Russia’s election interference. There can no longer be any doubt that such an investigation is necessary.
