I live in the Portland, Oregon area. We currently have the worst air quality in the world and are rated "Hazardous". Yesterday I could not see the house across the street. Today is a little better, thank goodness. I wish we could get some rain.

We have a haze that you can see at ground level, like in a twenty ft stretch, you can tell there's a haze. Also, this morning the only heavenly bodies that could be seen before daylight were Venus and the moon and they were orange until daylight. Sun was orange too. We get wafting so on occasion it's not as thick so the nearby mountains, starting at four miles to the peak of the nearest ones, are visible as silhouettes. My throat burns, eyes red and I have a dull headache that's lasted all day. I was indoors for most of the day.
