American flag stolen from an Army veteran's home in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — In a city that deals with violent crimes each day, minor offenses are often less reported. For one fourth-generation military veteran, calling in a stolen American flag was the last thing he thought to do despite feeling personally affronted.

“It’s part of living in any city really, some of it, but then when you kind of cross that line and start taking something like a flag from someone’s house, it’s kind of like a little bit more escalated,” said Brett Vuyovich.

The American flag was ripped down and taken from Vuyovich’s home in broad daylight. One of his neighbor’s caught it on camera.

“Instantly, all my neighbors were concerned when they realized it they were like, ‘what happened to the flag?’” he said.

I said it blurs lines. Tends to piss people off who ceaselessly fly both as though they are simpatico. They are not.
