*knock knock*

Tourist from the Massachusetts group here, wondering if you all think O'Malley is magnetic, a good speaker, a good leader, etc.

Trying to find out as much as I can about people who have been mentioned in connection with the 2016 Presidential.

I am reading his wiki, but am looking more for the more intangible things, like how he comes across.

Also, if anyone prefers to start a thread in GD to post about him, instead of doing so on this thread, that might be even better, so everyone can see.

Thank you for any info you don't mind posting.

I wouldn't consider him to be magnetic. Some good speeches, and a fairly good leader. Others may have different views on this.

has potential in that regard. But, since the Kennedy Nixon debates, candidates do need either some flash, like Bubba and Obama, or the "wanna have a beer with that straight shooter" quality, like, heaven help us, Bush supposedly had. The only beer experience I could see having with him is spitting one in his face. Then again, maybe I didn't get what would have been so great about having a beer with that dullard turd because I don't like the taste of beer. I don't even like to drink.

4. True, but, then again, that's been clear since at least Herbert Hoover.

Massachusetts has a long tradition of Republican Governors, including when Republicans were more liberal than Democrats. However, in recent years, our overwhelmingly Democratic legislature can override any veto it wishes, so we don't feel your pain over Republican Governors as much. Romney even appointed a Democrat to our version of the Supreme Court.
