I was elected!

The phone rang this morning. It was the Greenfield City Clerk, informing me that I had 14 write-in votes, which was enough to get elected to the town Democratic Committee. I am excited to meet more local Democrats and to get on with the work to re-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

I don't ever remember seeing it on the ballot before.

It said choose no more than 35 names, and there were only a dozen listed, so I assume write instead in my town stood a pretty good chance.

Congrats again!

into the great churn of our Country's political machine. Best of luck and wishes to you!

A funny story, when I was in high school, a teacher submitted my name into the student elections (for some category like treasurer or something like that), and I actually won! The thing was, I had won the 11th grade position, and I was in the 10th grade. Ha ha heh. My brush w/ politics.

I’d like that! I work for the City so I have to live here, but I’d much rather live in Greenfield. DM me, and we’ll get it going!

I got one write in for Alemeda county CA county commission.

And I know exactly where you are, I'm a graduate of Northfield School in East Northfield, so if my parents couldn't pick me up, I took the bus from Greenfield!
