Foxboro election season getting started, again with no mail-in voting

The annual spring election season is already getting underway, and again this year, there will be no mail-in voting.

Select board members unanimously agreed with Town Clerk Robert Cutler at Tuesday night’s select board meeting to not offer mail-in voting for the town election.

“All four years, everyone agreed we wouldn’t do it,” Cutler said.

One year there was a close vote, the town clerk acknowledged.

Supporters of mail-in voting that became popular during the pandemic assert not allowing it limits voting opportunities.
