This subdivision, Indian Hills, was built in the early 60's. It really is a lovely area, bordered by a park and a nature conservation area called 'The Commons'. I spent countless hours at friend's homes and just walking around the neighborhood, which is a few streets over from where I lived, so I have a very strong emotional attachment to the neighborhood.

(100,959 posts)At least there neighborhood is still there. Looks bad enough, though.

(27,823 posts)There is a beautiful, HUGE Oak Tree back there and I was worried if it was still standing. It is. Whew!
He's finding all kinds of debris. Lots of shingles, of course, and a huge, very heavy sheet of steel. The weirdest thing, so far, is 3 full sleeves of good quality paper cups, in perfect condition.
