MI-SD35: Free bus rides in Saginaw for state Senate primary election

SAGINAW, MI — Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) will offer free bus rides on fixed routes Tuesday, Feb. 3, when some riders may vote in the primary phase of the special election for the state Senate 35th District.

It’s a service the Saginaw transit organization has offered for years during election days.

District 35 encompasses parts of Saginaw County as well as Bay and Midland counties.

The election could shake up the power balance for the rest of the year in Lansing, where Democrats outnumber Republicans in the state Senate, 19-18.
