Michigan State Police director busted for Facebook post calling kneeling NFL players anti-American

Michigan State Police director busted for Facebook post calling kneeling NFL players ‘anti-American degenerates’
Tom Boggioni 27 SEP 2017 AT 00:52 ET

The director of the Michigan State Police is under fire after she posted a meme to her Facebook page calling protesting NFL players “degenerates.”

According to the Detroit Free Press, Col. Kriste Kibbey Etue shared the message on Sunday with her social media followers after every team in the NFL protested in some manner following President Donald Trump’s “son of a bitch” attack on former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The posted meme (seen below) was addressed, “Dear NFL” and slurred the players as “millionaire ingrates who hate America,” adding that they are “arrogant, ungrateful anti-American degenerates.”

1. "Busted"?

The Rawstory article doesn't indicate any consequences for Colonel Etue for her obnoxious Facebook posting. Or does "busted" just mean that she revealed her true feelings?

Let's see if she still has her job in 48 hours. If she gets canned or forced to resign, then I'd say she was busted. If she keeps her job, then it sucks to live in Michigan.

No real consequences so far except revealing the fact that your chief law enforcement officer is against the right of an American citizen to protest.

A scary damn thing that the State of Michigan needs to address.
