New poll spells trouble for Michigan Republicans peddling conspiracy theories and opposing abortion

New poll spells trouble for Michigan Republicans peddling conspiracy theories and opposing abortion rights

Republicans could be in trouble in Michigan because they are out of step with voters on abortion, former President Donald Trump, and conspiracy theories about the election, according to a recent poll on statewide races and Roe v. Wade.

In an EPIC-MRA poll of 600 likely voters between May 11 and 17, 63% of voters said they disagree with the Supreme Court’s draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision that legalized abortion.

Only 26% of voters said they support the draft decision.

Many Republican candidates, including virtually all of those running for governor, are running on a platform of opposing all forms of abortion, a position that is very unpopular in Michigan.

Of those surveyed, 57% identify as pro-choice, and 33% are opposed to abortion rights. An additional 10% are undecided.

Whitmer was up by five in their last poll and is now down by one?

But they disagree with a ruling they haven’t read and probably won’t associate with a specific candidate?

Ok. :eyeroll:

candidate yet. 5 were eliminated because of fraud signatures. 3 of them are suing. One of them left - Tudor Davis - is endorsed by Betsy DeVos and most likely trump.

trump has picked Michigan as one of his states to push his views and win. I hope folks understand that food and gas prices are not Biden's fault. Let's hope educated suburban women vote for the Dems to protect abortion rights. We have a repub legislature here. Tehe line of protection is our governor, SOS and AG. They are all Dems and all women. They are all up for election in the Midterms.

decision, the election should totally destroy the republicans.

People in favor of gun control vastly outnumber the traitorous, murderous, stupid, anti-american republican party so the Democrats should win big if people, especially independents, voted rationally.

A survey of 600 in a state with 8,000,000 registered voters doesn’t really impress me.

I certainly hope it means trouble for Republicans though. Anything that means trouble for Republicans is something that makes me hopeful.

is one reason to ignore these polls. Polls suck. They either don't have enough people polled or the questions are slanted toward a certain answer. As products of the MSM, mostly, they want to gin up the horse race campaign to get the ad dollars the media needs for the bonus money and stock buy backs. People and polls are easily manipulated.
