(129,329 posts)There is a very well-organized grassroots resistance movement at the neighborhood level and it's massive. I attended a neighborhood meeting where they expected maybe 100 people and more than 500 showed up, and people are engaged, absolutely determined and defiant. I've never seen anything like it, not even during the '60s antiwar protests. Minneapolis ain't playing.

It is model that will be utilized again and again, I hope.
It works.
