Thinking of jumping from Wisconsin to Minnesota

How's Winona when it comes to politics.

My niece would like us to move to Duluth but that is just too much winter for me. I'm hoping she might move south, she wants to set up a dog grooming shop but hasn't started the process so there is still time to move before.

He's a great DFLer and according to Wikipedia the state senator is GOP, but the state house rep is a DFLer.

It's in the 1st Congressional district, represented by Tim Walz, a Democrat, so there's that. I don't know much about the local politics, but it's a nice town. Welcome to Minnesota.

I do not live there, but would sure consider it if such a jump came up. Definitely get yourself out of Wisconsin!! Congratulations on having some mobility.

Mankato has a super duper animal Humane Society in BENCHS http://www.benchs.org. Not sure about grooming competition though but a wonderful organization that is worthy of donations and support.

Most of the Mississippi River Valley from Hastings to Prairie du Chein is blue on both sides of the river, easy to head to Cochran/Fountain City, Trempleau or LaCrosse for day trips.
