I hadn't realized the Phyllis Kahn had been in for 44 years! Looks like she might lose this one. I know the last time Noor was running against her there were allegation that his supporters were telling Somali voters to "not vote for the Jewish lady"

But perhaps it is time for someone new. The district has changed a lot, and it's always good to get more diversity in our party and the legislature.

but it's not listed here. I guess it wasn't intriguing.

the DFL endorsed candidate is running away with it. The Republican who currently holds the seat (we lost it in a special election last February by 110 votes) is a real Teabagger and didn't have contest - I was afraid his following of true believers might cross over an voter for the weaker DFLer in the race.

to get out and vote for her.

I felt bad for the seven or so precinct workers sitting there all alone. And, yes, they used an iPad to find me and to print a "receipt" that I signed.
