I see Amy Klobuchar as having a decent shot at the VP nomination.

Depending how she does in primaries in Midwestern states, she may be a real contender for that position. On the other hand, I don't see her as a strong national presidential candidate. So, here's what I'm going to do:

In our Presidential Primary election (bye, caucuses), I'm going to vote for Amy. Why? Because I want to see her do very well here in Minnesota to help her chances for the VP nomination. I want to see her do will in other Midwestern states, too.

That's my primary vote. In November, as always, I'll be voting for the Democratic nominees, but for the MN Primary, I'm going to try to give Amy a boost as a "favorite daughter" of Minnesota.

Despite the recent spate of accusations which I'm just going to ignore for the moment, Klobuchar comes off as competent and more-to-the-point non-threatening, even consensus-building.

I find Kamala tremendously competent--and again she's really at the top of my list right now. That said, I could imagine a highly compatible pairing that might be just a tad more likely with Biden-Klobuchar.

I could readily see a Harris-Sherrod Brown pairing though.

I thought her campaign launch was brilliant. Amy is solid and steady, though. I think she's going to grow on people.

I think the controversy over her treatment of staff is fading out. She has very high standards and insists on high standards from staffers. I can't fault her for that.

Again, I don't think she'll be the presidential nominee, but I'd like to see her as a VP candidate. Given a couple of terms, I think she could be highly viable, once she gains national prominence as a VP.

She could go all the way. She's been fairly impressive so far. She totally neutralized those comments about her being a "mean boss" etc. If she can handle other negative press thrown at her as well...

7. I agree on her not getting top billing and would accept her as VP, but she's not on my

preferred ticket, based on the current field. Right now I'd pick Sherrod Brown/Kamala Harris ticket. He's very left of center without being extreme and knows how to get things done. Harris as VP (hopefully for 8 years) would give her the experience necessary to take over (with Booker as her VP?).

But for those who like the status quo, Klobuchar is the candidate for them.

I haven't made up my mind who I'll support during the primary season, I know I'll vote for whoever is the nominee in November 2020 - I just really hope it's someone I can fell enthusiastic about.

I think that she probably can't pull that off in 2020. So, I'm very interested in her as a potential VP nominee, to add solid strength to the ticket. I'm just an old-fashioned Democrat, who is trying to think strategically about November 2020.

I like her toughness. That's the most attribute needed to beat Trump.
