Former Mount Olive alderwoman appealing defeat in mayoral election challenge
MOUNT OLIVE, Miss. (WDAM) - An appeal has been filed in the case of a former Mount Olive alderwoman who was challenging the results of last summers mayoral election in that town.
Marcia Hull has appealed to the Mississippi Supreme Court, following a decision last week by a special circuit court judge dismissing a lawsuit by Hull and affirming current mayor Cliff Kellys victory in that election.
