Email to Senator McCaskill

Senator:
I am wholly disappointed with the comments attributed to you regarding the candidacy of Senator Bernie Sanders for President. You are certainly entitled to support whomever you believe to be the best person for the position, however your comments were very dismissive of the Senator and his supporters. I greatly object to your characterization that the Senator is promoting "extreme" positions as that is simply not the case. He has to my knowledge always been a supporter of the working people and the average middle class members of our society. Comparing him to Pat Buchanan, Ron & Rand Paul with their right wing positions is simply beyond absurd. I would not be too quick anoint the Candidacy of Former Secretary Clinton and to dismiss Senator Sanders as I recall in 2008 Mrs. Clinton was considered the sure thing and I believe things turned out a bit different.

Regards,

4. It is,strange to see the people who speak of the annointing of Hillary is not her supporters.

Likewise Bernie will not be anointed either, so this can probably be dropped, it is silly when her supporters are not claiming this. I would bet if McCaskill said Bernie is the person to be the next president you may not have posted negative things about her. McCaskill endorsed Hillary before Bernie threw his hat into the ring and I would bet McCaskill has worked enough with Hillary and Bernie to make a judgement on their qualifications, she is entitled to her opinion.

in the email to her. I objected to the tone of her unnecessary whining statement to the media and the comparisons she made which I found completely unnecessary. Likewise I was well aware of her support of HRC's candidacy prior to Senator Sanders entering the race. That again is her choice, but there is no need for her to be publicly dismissive of any Democratic Candidate.

6. This is a sign that the clinton campaign is frightened of Bernie.

hilary can't come out herself and be critical of Senator Sanders, so they are unleashing their attack dogs.

There will be more to come as The Senator gains momentum. First they ignore you, then they fight you, and then you win.

until then I'll work to make Bernie Sanders the nominee.

But not by comparing her to Buchanan and other RWingers.
