St. Louis County Tightens Mask Rules For Businesses, Children
The St. Louis County health department on Friday toughened its order requiring face masks, in an effort to keep the coronavirus from spreading.
Starting Monday, businesses won’t be able to serve people who aren't wearing masks, and children over age 5 will have to wear them in school. People will also need to wear masks at indoor and outdoor businesses. Health officials cited an increasing number of coronavirus cases and the growing risk of transmission among schoolchildren. “As face-to-face interactions increase, and as scientific evidence indicates that COVID-19 is spread by asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic individuals, it is critical that all individuals wear face coverings in public settings, including children in school settings,” health officials said in Friday’s order. https://news.stlpublicradio.org/health-science-environment/2020-08-21/st-louis-county-tightens-mask-rules-for-businesses-children?

1. I'm in north St. Louis County.
And most of the places I care to go have been pretty much compliant with mask wearing. I've seen signs that state "face covering required for entry."

2. I'm in the city (STLMO). Almost everyone, literally everyone is wearing a mask, and have them close
at hand if not, e.g., if they are isolated outside by themselves (socially distant), they have the masks at hand, close by. Even some places I go, they will have someone go through and squirt disinfectant in everyone's hands. A community effort.
It's nice to see, that more and more folks are taking this seriously, and aren't messing around (wearing of masks, other steps). |

4. I was having coffee with a former co-worker last week in
Forest Park. We meet in the parking lot by the tennis courts. From what I saw everyone was, while not wearing masks they were staying to themselves. Beyond that I’ve not seen anyone without a mask.
