Kansas City Star endorses Claire McCaskill for US Senate

http://www.kansascity.com/2012/10/20/3875364/the-stars-recommendation-return.html

No surprise here, the KC Star has endorsed incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill for re-election to the US Senate, stating "it protects Missouri and the nation from more votes by Akin against fair pay measures, emergency contraception after rape or incest, and federally subsidized school lunches for low-income children."

The editorial cited McCaskill's opposition to earmarks, support for the Keystone XL pipeline with strengthened safety and environmental protections, for health-insurance reform, and her efforts to control federal spending.

And, of course, who could endorse Akin, anyway? Oh, yeah--rapists.

They've loudly endorsed the man on a regular basis. Then again, no one actually listens to them.
