Osage Nation releases images for proposed Lake casino, hotel
The Osage Nation shared artist renderings of their proposed hotel and casino at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The renderings show the outside of the casino, a hotel room, a meeting room, and a dining room.
Construction on the project would only start after a number of regulatory hurdles are cleared, including approval from the United States Department of Interior.
“We are thrilled to release these renderings to Osage Nation members in a time when Chief [Geoffrey] Standing Bear is conducting monumental cultural efforts in our ancestral lands,” said Byron Bighorse, CEO of Osage Casinos. “Our casino has been nationally recognized for providing world-class gaming, and we are excited to bring this opportunity to Lake of the Ozarks.”
