Looking for a 5-night rental near Glacier Park

I'm trying to put together a trip to Glacier Park in August for my wife and I, our adult daughters and their spouses, and two grand-kids. I've spent hours searching for a cabin rental near the park, and while I have a few in mind that we all like I thought I'd post something here in the hope that one of you might know someone who would rent us a place near the east entrance to the park, say within 25 miles or so. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just big enough to sleep 8, and some of us are fine with sleeping on the floor.

Thanks for reading this!

Vacation Rentals By Owner? I looked up West Glacier but you can navigate around to see what's available. Many of the housing units near me are advertised on this site... but I live near the other National Park in the state and am not very familiar with the Glacier area.

She found some good places near the west entrance that are available, and we may pick one even though we'd like to be near the east entrance. Kicking myself for not starting the search sooner, but I had trouble getting everyone to decide between Glacier and Yellowstone. Thanks for your response!

I'm sure there are some places on the east side too.

Hope you find a nice place and have a great time!

ETA: Check the snow levels in the area, there has been a lot of snow this year and i don't know if they have the road plowed yet. Down here we still have a good amount on the ground in places and they got a lot more than we did.

I don't know what the prices are like now, but they used to be fairly reasonable. Not as cheap as Yellowstone, but not outrageous either. And the experience is soooooo wonderful. Memories that last a lifetime. The glaciers won't last long enough for your grandchildren to see them as adults.

Enjoy! The jewel of the nation, indeed.

but I will check the price for staying in a lodge in the park. I've been to Glacier many times, but this will be a first visit for one of my daughters and my grand-kids. I know they'll love it. Thanks!

bring up several hotels in the area. We have stayed in the Many Glacier Hotel and found it awesome. Plenty to do in the area plus we saw a moose and a brown bear on the road to the hotel! The moose was alongside the road (more like a trail you travel to get to the hotel) and the bear was sitting right in the middle of the highway! There's also a place called Isaak Walton Lodge and I believe you can rent old refurbished train cars for lodging.
