Owner of Atlanta Falcons buys fourth Paradise Valley ranch

https://billingsgazette.com/news/state-and-regional/owner-of-atlanta-falcons-buys-fourth-paradise-valley-ranch/article_fbc967cc-f2e4-5635-a51b-ae17dff7dcd5.html?utm_source=spotim&utm_medium=spotim_recirculation

This fucker has been buying up Paradise Valley. Some land owners refuse to sell to him.

I see a pattern here, all the richest fuckers on the planet are buying up prime property around the gems of our Public Lands so they can encroach on the Public Lands long before anyone can do anything about it. And our billionaire, body-slamming, tfg acolyte governor is inviting them to come and commandeer all private land in the state because they only want rich people to live here.

So if you love places like Yellowstone, understand that they want to privatize it and surrounding ecosystem, they plan to own it all so they can exploit it.

Up close and personal for over 20 years, they just seem to be in a hurry at this point. I can't stand it anymore, I can't stay and watch this happen any longer, it's not like anyone wants to hear what I have to say around here. My vote surely doesn't count here.

They are bringing hordes of people with them and they'll crash the ecosystem that provides water for two thirds of the continental US and all the fauna they think they are going to survive on. Wildlife are sensitive to their environment and once it changes enough, the crash comes pretty quick.

And they have been congregating around here for a while. It's a scary venture to go out in the woods these days when it isn't hunting season.

340,000 acres for 200 mil. That sounds like an astronomically good deal considering land prices in the state.

It pisses me off.

Arthur has been buying up a lot of property in Paradise Valley as have other uber wealthy, kiss it good-bye.

I can't stay here and watch this, not like I could do anything about it other than leave. Montana is changing in ways I can no longer live with, so I guess I'll have to go. Breaks my heart, I worked so hard... I just can't watch anymore.

When I first came here 30 years ago I told my mother that I was going to work. live and die here. Now I am afraid to get too much older here. This state is not looking the same to me.

Twenty years ago. And I am seeing that another life ambition is flushed down the political toilet bowl. If I wanted to live in a blood red state with no rights for many, I would have stayed in Idaho.

This past week or so. I figured that would be a draw. I know some of the crew and one of the filming locations is in Paradise Valley.

I don't feel comfortable with all the "new" people around here, lots of militants and rude assholes. All the folks who have lived here a long time are complaining about this area becoming a shithole just like West Yellowstone is now. The local government is making all the mistakes that will turn this ecosystem into a desert in fifteen years. I stopped going into the park the year I stopped working there. I have only traveled along US191 to get to Targhee Pass when I have to go to the state to the west since then. It fills me with a pain I can't describe to go through there each time, I lived there for over a decade, and it just withers my soul.
