Governor asks 'Daily Show' host to see real Montana

HELENA — It’s gotten even more personal.

Gov. Steve Bullock entered the fray Thursday over a recent ribbing of Montana by “The Daily Show” by inviting its host, Trevor Noah, to visit the Treasure State.

And he sweetened the deal by offering to make him lunch.

“The Daily Show” sent correspondent Roy Wood Jr. to the March for our Guns rally Saturday at the state Capitol in which 150 people attended while a March for our Lives rally was held across town in which about 1,000 people attended.

I think Roy Wood Jr. is the best of their current correspondents.

Most of the others I posted would have sunk by now, but that one attracted a lot of interest. Someone else posted the link the day that it aired and I K&R'd it, but it didn't get as much attention since it was only the link. But I thought it was one of the best The Daily Show has done, so I was pleased when it showed up on their "channel" and it looks like others here agreed.
