OMG - not in a good way

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Nevada Republicans are proposing a bill that adds protective language regarding religious activities for public school students.

Assemblyman Jim Wheeler and several other Assembly Republicans are sponsoring AB 120, which would codify rights given to students regarding school prayer and religious organizing. The bill is scheduled for a hearing in the Assembly Education Committee on Monday afternoon.

The bill also applies to charter schools and gives students the right to speak about religion, distribute literature and organize prayer groups based on the same rules governing secular extracurricular activities and groups.

The proposal also outlines a complaint process for students who say their religious rights have been violated.

I believe if this passes, the SCOTUS would uphold it. Their decisions on religious issues lately have been wrong and sucked..

Was a horror too. Can't think of recent good decision regarding religion. Or much else actually. Obviously, the equality decisions for LGBT but not much else

So I hope that the Satanists and the Jews and the FSMs and the snake handlers and the Muslims and pagans and witches and whatever religion that ever existed come along to crash the party. Sounds like it could be a barrel of fun.

get their single largest segment to the polls. We now have a legislature which is a carbon copy of the Theocracy to the North, namely Utah. Mostly White from the same religious cult.

The first group that will probably be formed will want to hold worship services for vampires, warlords, or some dark overlord of the Seth.
