Alec Baldwin to headline South Jersey Democratic fund-raiser
TRENTON — Alec Baldwin, President Trump’s chief tormentor on Saturday Night Live, will headline a fund-raising event in South Jersey next month for a super PAC tied to hospital and insurance executive George E. Norcross III.
Guests will pay $2,500 each to attend the fund-raiser June 1 at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom for General Majority PAC, according to a copy of the invitation.
Attendees include Norcross; his brother Donald, a Democratic congressman; Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D., Gloucester); Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto (D., Hudson); and other Democratic leaders in the Legislature, according to the invitation.
General Majority PAC, which can raise an unlimited amount of money, has spent millions to help Democrats win and defend seats in the Legislature. Democrats control both houses in Trenton, and all seats, as well as the governor's office, are up for election in November.
