This decision was not made lightly. I have spent the last few months crisscrossing New Mexico, meeting with hundreds of families and businesses.

Time and again, I've heard the concerns about where New Mexico is heading.

Too many don't have access to a good paying job. Our children are trapped in a broken education system. Poverty is pervasive throughout every community. Crime is getting worse and touching nearly everyone.

I am running because I share those concerns. And as Governor, my commitment to you is to work hard every day to tackle these challenges head-on.

I am optimistic that with new leadership and a shared vision for our future, we can be successful. United, I know there is nothing we cannot accomplish.

If you believe that New Mexico can change, I ask you to join my fight to create a better future for our state. I ask that you become a Day One supporter in my campaign for Governor.
