Homeless man accused of beating motel worker nearly to death

A judge will decide if a homeless man accused of nearly beating a woman to death should stay locked up.

Juan Gonzales is accused of punching the woman, throwing her to the ground, and stomping on her head. Police say he then stabbed her with a pair of scissors. Gonzales believed he had killed her.

The woman is reportedly in critical condition.

Why would that judge do this? This man is clearly a danger to others and needs to be kept behind bars or locked up in a mental ward - not running around lose to try and kill others. Seriously - what the fuck is wrong with people these days??
