Daughter: Joan Rivers Remains On Life Support

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Joan Rivers remains on life support, five days after going into cardiac arrest, her daughter said in a statement Tuesday.

In the statement released through Rivers’ longtime publicist, Melissa Rivers said, “On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we’ve received. At this time she does remain on life support.

“I know my mother would be overwhelmed by the continued outpouring of kindness and I want to thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers.”

I believe a decision will be made in the next day or two. So sad that Mellisa has to go through this. I had to last November with my Mom.....horrid times. Major high vibes to the Rivers family.
