Teachout: Women’s party is ‘high-priced’ ad for Cuomo

Zephyr Teachout denounced the Women's Equality Party created by Governor Andrew Cuomo, at a campaign stop near New York University on Friday morning.
"A lot of times I just see it as half a million dollars to get the name 'Women's Equality Party' next to 'Andrew Cuomo' on the ballot—a high-priced advertisement," she said.
Teachout called it "a big-money ploy."
She also blamed Cuomo for the failure of the Women's Equality Agenda, which has yet to pass the Legislature.
