Turnout reporsta all over the state are very low. We might not break a million votes.

(5,141 posts)I didn't ask what my number was but I'm 30 miles north of you so I am assuming your turnout tends to be more robust than mine.

(1,352 posts)... but since I'm in very rural upstate that's actually a *good* number (and we didn't open until noon). And we passed one other voter going in and 2 going out, which on primary day before 5 pm is almost unheard of.
Of course, odds were that most of the folks who got there before us were Republican. It's an odd thing, living in the red zone of a blue state. Easy to feel that our votes don't count for a whole lot. But spouse and I still go do it anyway, every time. Not sure if that's dedication or futility, but...
