Asked about Cuomo support, Teachout talks Senate

BUFFALO—Zephyr Teachout would not commit to supporting Governor Andrew Cuomo in the general election, the day after she won a surprising 34 percent of the vote against him in a Democratic primary.

“No. I'm going to be trying to win back the Democratic Senate,” Teachout, a Fordham law professor, said on WNBF when asked if she would campaign for Cuomo. “I need another day or two to think about it, but I'm going to be focused on taking back the Democratic Senate.”
