Related: About this forumLooks like our senator Schumer will become the Senate Democratic leader.
http://www.politico.com/story/2015/03/harry-reid-endorses-chuck-schumer-116452.htmlthere are several issues I disagree with Schumer on but I am glad for him and for our state.
Maybe he can get some of our money back from the federal government and put it into our infrastructure and schools.
Good luck Chuck!

(15,444 posts)I'm not happy with this. I would rather have Elizabeth Warren chosen as Senate Democratic Leader. Nominating Senator Schumer only ensures that Senator Warren's fight against Wall Street will be hamstrung as much as possible without Senator Schumer looking like a Republican.
